Nessah Muthy is a multi-award-winning, Writer’s Guild-nominated writer, the 2017 winner of the Character 7 Prize and the 2018 Adrian Pagan Award.

She has worked with a number of established theatres and arts organisations including: the Royal Court Theatre, Punchdrunk, the National Youth Theatre, Cardboard Citizens, HighTide, Kali Theatre, Theatre Centre, Iris Theatre, Cloakroom Theatre and the King’s Head Theatre.

For theatre, Nessah is currently under commission to the National Youth Theatre, Theatre Centre, The Brit School and The Young Vic Theatre.

After a critically-acclaimed, sell-out run in London, Nessah’s immersive play for young people with Punchdrunk, ‘Small Wonders’, transferred to the Edinburgh International Children’s Festival, Imaginate, throughout May and June 2019 where it received five star reviews across the board.

For screen, Nessah has written for Holby City and EastEnders: E20. She is is currently developing a number of new ideas for television.
