COMMON: GROUND - CAREER PROGRESSION AS A WORKING-CLASS ARTIST IN NEWCASTLE

DELIVERED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NORTHERN STAGE, LIVE THEATRE AND ALPHABETTI THEATRE

We are partnering with Northern Stage, Live Theatre and Alphabetti Theatre to deliver a COMMON GROUND discussion exclusively aimed at artists based in Newcastle who self-identify as working-class.

This COMMON GROUND event will offer a platform for working-class artists living/working in Newcastle and the surrounding areas to share the barriers to career progression that they face when building careers in theatre in this region, and provide an opportunity for artists to offer suggestions of initiatives and opportunities which could be created to help overcome them.

This event is wheelchair-accessible, baby/child friendly and inclusive of working-class artists from intersectional backgrounds across race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, gender binaries and disabilities.
